In over three years of professional experience, I've had the privilege of contributing to four titles spanning many genres; MMORPG, Isometric Dungeon Crawler, Third-Person Action-Adventure, and RTS. This diverse development exposure fostered a multi perspective approach to game design!
I strive to empower players with discovery, choice, and accomplishment. My experience creating mechanics from prototype to implementation has taught me to convey new ideas to players in ways that free them to credit themselves for their successes and failures rather than the designer.
I grew up primarily on Nintendo and PC games. My all-time favorites include Super Metroid, System Shock 2, Quake III: Arena, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and Metroid Prime. When I'm not working on a game or playing one with friends, I'm mountain biking, drumming, surfing or seeing some live music!
